September 2 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Join us for this day of demonstrations and hands-on activities as we celebrate handmade textiles in every shape and size. You’ll have a chance to process wool from our own sheep, weave fabric and make your own felted creation. While sheep’s wool will indeed be a focus, needlecrafters will also display their work ranging from reproduction schoolgirl samplers and decorative textiles. Also alpacas from Kings Highway Alpacas will be on hand, as well as a special one-day-only special exhibit of historic quilts. While hookers will be present, Fiberfest promises to be a day of family-friendly fun.
$7 for adults/$4 for children; Museum Members Admitted Free
