Family Fun at the Corgiville Fair
August 19 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Enjoy a day’s worth of fun at this event inspired by the Tasha Tudor illustrated children’s classic. Long-time Museum volunteer Carolyn Chase will provided guided tours while playing the role of Tasha Tudor, whose best-loved works were created while living on farmsteads in N.H. and Vt. An avid gardener, she was also very fond of Corgis – small foxlike canines with warm dispositions. Tudor’s most famous work was Corgiville Fair, which was set in a fictitious small town inhabited by Corgis, cats, rabbits, and creatures called boggarts. Join us on the midway of the Corgiville Fair for games, fair food, crafts, animal exhibits, and a goat race. There will also be an exotic animal show presented by Wildlife Encounters!
$7 for adults/$4 for children; Museum Members Admitted Free
